HVAC System Design
As a team member, my role was to contribute to the building services design. My primary responsibilities included the modelling of the existing and new construction in Revit, designing the HVAC system for the new level 4 layout, creating FF&E schedules, and preparing construction documentation.
This project was a collaborative assessment for the Architectural Design Studies Honours Program, where we ironically renovated the four walls in which we spent the most time during the program: School of Architecture computer labs on Level 4 D-Block building at QUT Gardens Point in Brisbane, Australia.
My primary responsibilities included the modelling of the existing and new construction in Revit, designing the HVAC system for the new level 4 layout, creating FF&E schedules, and preparing construction documentation. Additionally, I collaborated with the rest of the team to render and present the final project.
Working alongside two other team members, who were responsible for the electrical and hydraulic design, we successfully executed a comprehensive building services design for the Level 4 D-Block building.
Our project aimed to provide a comfortable and collaborative environment for the students, while also considering the access to nature and functionality of the space. The project used experimental design details throughout and stimulating layout for students collaboration.
